Globe turnovers 10K Sim Cards for Cebu City Students to DepEd VII

10K Students from Cebu City Schools with Special Science Classes will benefit Globe x DepEd Cebu Connectivity Partnership

Globe Telecom partners with Department of Education Cebu City in providing a total of free 10,000 sims to students in schools under DepEd Cebu City.

The program called Reinvent Learning with Globe aims to help students in their connectivity needs. Students who will receive the sims will get sampler load of 5GB of open-access data and 1GB data of GoLearn apps plus 1GB GoWifi access. The program also connects students to get access to educational materials online with the affordable promo offers that Globe offers specially for students.

Mr. Adonis Evangelista, Regional Sales Head of Globe Telecom, turned over to DepEd VII School Division Superintendent Dr. Rhea Mar Angtud during an official ceremony held today, January 22.

Urban Schools in Cebu City with special science classes from all levels like Abellana and Gothong will benefit from the said program.

The program, which is the first in the Philippines, will be rolled out nationwide soon especially with the new normal.
