‘Saludo SMEs’ campaign aims to honor, equip Pinoy entrepreneurs towards digitalization

With the Pandemic taking a huge toll on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Ayala-led Globe Business, Globe’s MSME arm, has launched its 2021 Saludo SME campaign to help them transition digitally.

This year’s campaign kicked off with a virtual event featuring special messages from Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu and Ayala Corporation President and CEO Fernando Zobel de Ayala. In their messages, the respected business leaders highlighted how they collaborate to empower MSMEs with the right tools and skills to reinvent their business and own their success.

“Tuloy Tayo”, Saludo SMEs aims to empower and enable Pinoy entrepreneurs who have exerted undying efforts to adapt and move forward despite the challenges brought by the Pandemic. With this campaign, Globe will be presenting customized business solutions, learning sessions, and recognition programs.

Ayala estimated 250,000 MSMEs and even more micro-sized businesses are part of the Ayala ecosystem.

Last year, Ayala said they established the Ayala Enterprise Circle (AEC) as a concrete expression of the conglomerate’s support to entrepreneurs, to which it aims to bring together the different subsidiaries, affiliates and peers of the Ayala Group to assist SME business partners.

The Globe Business Saludo SME campaign, together with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Biztech and the AEC, are working in unison to offer an array of practical solutions, from digital innovations to loan programs and various exclusive programs to help SME cut costs.

Part of the launch of the campaign is Globe Business Upstart, Globe Business’ Loyalty Program for MSMEs which:

  • will offer free IT Certifications, Employee Product Training, and MSME MasterClasses,
  • equip them with Member Gifts, Business Consultations, Product Trials, as well as Ayala Enterprise Circle membership,
  • empower them through Exclusive Partnerships, access to C-Suite Networking Events, Referral Programs, and Co-branding Campaigns.

With a wide selection of digital solutions, Globe Business hopes to aid MSMEs in their digital journey.

Supported by the DTI Negosyo Center and the DTI Bureau of SME Development, Globe Business will likewise be rolling out the Digitstore to help boost the sales of partner entrepreneurs by means of cross-selling on Globe’s digital platforms. This will also help encourage and engage Filipino consumers to support local entrepreneurs by buying from the live-selling activities on Globe Business’s Facebook page.

Globe Business is also launching a search for MSMEs that have tapped into the power of digital technology to pivot their operations and survive the pandemic. Five businesses will be chosen by the telco giant from among the stories shared to an SME showcase worth P50,000 to help boost their business and expedite their digital transformation.

Entrepreneurs can also apply for loan programs crafted to their needs through BPI BizTech, while perks and other benefits in Ayala companies will be extended through AEC so those with Globe Business accounts can save on expenses.
