Satisfy your seafood and Filipino food cravings with Hikay when in Cebu IT Park!

Cebu IT Park, probably the only district in Cebu that never sleeps, is home to different BPO Companies, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, Fast food chains, food stalls, and entertainment bars. Whatever your food cravings are, as long as you have the money, you will probably find a restaurant or food stall in Cebu IT Park to satisfy your desires.

QUESTION: Where to dine in Cebu IT Park if you’re craving for Filipino food or seafoods while on a tight budget? Hikay in Calyx Building!

Hikay is located at the Ground floor level of Calyx Building beside The Walk. ‘Hikay‘ comes from the local dialect word which means ‘to prepare’ and is usually used when someone is planning to celebrate for huge celebrations. And that’s what Hikay is all about, a celebration of great Filipino food for everyone.

Manang Gina’s Mongoe soup with seafood mix is Hikay’s bestseller. This hot creamy soup is made of fine mongo beans, with a mixture of seafood such as shrimp, crab meat and white shell, and fresh coconut milk. This mongo recipe is definitely NOT the usual dish you cook at home or from your fave carenderia. If you’re allergic to seafoods like shrimp, you can always ask the waiter to separate the shrimp or seafood from the mongoe soup. So you don’t have any reason to not try this one-of-a-kind creamy mongoe soup!

Unlike other calamares I’ve tried, Hikay’s Calamares was crunchy but not too starchy. The breading mix didn’t overpower the taste of the squid.

The Baked Scallops was creamy and baked just right. Just see the pics as I’m out of words, literally.

Hikay’s not so secret recipe is that their seafoods are delivered daily and fresh from Bantayan Island. So you can definitely expect quality and fresh seafood ingredients in your fave dish!

The interiors of the Restaurant may seem ‘classy’, but it doesn’t in any way make the food expensive. With its spacious dining area and sufficient no. of chairs and tables, Hikay in Calyx Building can accommodate large groups and is ideal for team meetings, lunch-out and dinner.

Oh, and Hikay is absolutely different and not related to Hukad 😉

So if you’re looking for a restaurant in Cebu IT Park that can accommodate your big group or family for lunch out or dinner,  enjoy Filipino foods with Hikay and celebrate!

See Menu below (we’re not joking when we say it’s more affordable as compared to other restaurants in Cebu IT Park).
