Relax and enjoy at Serenity Farm House Resort
Summer is officially here and we can feel the scorching heat! So if you’re up for some total fun, then there are plenty of ways to enjoy this summer with your friends or family. There are a lot of places here in Cebu that you can choose from. You can either: book a beach resort somewhere in the South or North area, go trekking on a mountain, or in our case, we booked a farm house resort located in Busay, Cebu City.
The Place
Serenity Farm House Resort is located in Busay, Cebu City. The place only took us around 20 to 30 minutes ride from the City to reach the Resort. When we arrive at the farm house, you can see the beauty of nature as the core attraction. Their lawns were adequately cropped, and the small tables and stools at the garden terrace were perfectly arranged for the visitors to enjoy the view of the mountain area of Busay.
The Terrace
Aside from the terrace, they also have a pool with a Jacuzzi, which is also overlooking at the mountain area of Busay. It was beautiful, and overwhelmingly serene and calm. Their caretakers gave us a warm welcome. The place was spacious. Ideal for private parties, team building and vacation destination.
The Pool
The House
It’s a two storey house with a terrace. A Koi fish pond before the entrance door added beauty to the house. The ground floor has glass windows and glass sliding doors which added a peaceful and dramatic look. It has four bedrooms but no air-condition, a terrace, and three comfort rooms.
The house has a spacious living room complete with furniture and appliances. The kitchen is commodious: it has a kitchen counter where you can prepare your foods for cooking. You can also use the kitchen utensils, stove, oven, microwave and the fridge. The second floor is where the other bedrooms are located. The view from the terrace is perfect for relaxation and meditation.
Since the place is on top of the mountain and it is above sea level. It is expected that the air will become colder starting in the afternoon. At around 8 pm, while we were at the pool area having fun playing cards, chatting and drinking liquor, the air started to get cooler and then gets freezing from midnight to dawn. So I highly suggest to bring a blanket or better yet a jacket to keep you warm. But despite of the freezing cold air we still went swimming and we had a lot of fun. It was indeed a perfect get away!
The Pool and the terrace
The main highlight of the place is the pool where you can relax and have fun. Enjoy the warm water of the Jacuzzi, or chat with your friends or family in the terrace. Feast your eyes with the serenity of the place as you watch the mountain area of Busay right in front of you, like paintings on a wall.

How to get to Serenity Farm House in Busay, Cebu
Serenity Farm Resort is located in Brgy. Malubog, Busay Cebu. When we went there, other groups rented two vans and the others where bringing their own private vehicles. If your group does not have any private vehicles, then I highly suggest that you rent a van rather than take a motorcycle ride (habal-habal). It is more convenient and safe.
