Local Delight of the Day is DJ Bernard del Rosario

DJ Bernard del Rosario.  DJ Bernard is 17 years old and currently taking up the course Respiratory Therapy at Cebu Doctors University.

If not doing any gig, what are you up to?

I either hang out with my friends or practice DJing or study haha

What are your hobbies?

Of course, Disc jocking and dancing.

 

How long have you been doing your craft?

I started practicing when I was still on the 9th grade, but I got the chance to learn real DJing for one year.

 

What would you consider your biggest break so far, in the industry?

My biggest break so far was the Friday Hobnob.

What made you want to become a DJ??

Eversince I learned how to bboy or breaking (in media terms breakdancing), I wanted to learn how to mix those tracks called break beats and old school hip hop. It will be cool to know two elements of hip hop but I still lack the knowledge.

 

Who’s your biggest influence/inspiration in your craft?

It would be my dad because he was very supportive and I want to make him proud someday.

 

What events do you cover?

This is just the beginning of my journey. I am willing to play at any events but most likely I play at clubs.
