“One of the worst restaurant around Mango area”

MUVANZ used to be my go to place after clubbing in Mango or after having a drinking (‘tagay’) session with friends and colleagues. It’s very convenient as the Mango branch is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Their pochero (especially the soup) helps anyone sober up after having too many drinks. Plus, their baked scallops is to die for!

Fast Forward, IT’S ONE OF THE WORST Go To place after partying!

I asked the cashier first if their Pochero soup is refillable and they said, ‘Yes’. But after you get your order and request for a refill, they will then say that they can’t give you a refill because they only have a little left.  It would have been okay if at the onset, they will set the proper expectation that it is not refillable. That would have been proper. But telling customers during order taking that the soup for the Pochero is refillable is very misleading and deceptive.

Price is affordable, but the service, quality and taste of their serving is not as good as before.  I’ll still recommend the place for drinking or ‘tagay’ session but not the place for drunk people to sober up!

If you want some hot soup after a ‘tagay’ session, might as well buy an instant noodle in any 24 hour convenience store around Mango area like 7-11, Family Mart, and Mini Stop. Or if you like pochero, go to Abuhan in Ramos, Alejandros,  or ‘larangan’ near Ramos Market.
