Beyond the Scents: The Essence of Essential Oils with Winnie Fannon
First thing that crosses my mind about Essential Oils is Aromatherapy. Lavender and eucalyptus scent in massage parlors and Belo clinics are the usual places I can smell these oils. I know they can promote relaxation but not to the point of buying one and bringing them home for personal use. The hassle of cleaning up the burners after using is the main reason why having oils at home is not an option. A huge mistake!
Winnie Fannon, A Singaporean Health Educator & Researcher, and a Certified Aromatherapist in Training was in town last March 13 and gave us a personal session on the different essential oils its health benefits. Different oils has different benefits but they all result to one thing – WELLNESS. As they say, prevention is better than cure. Although they are not a substitute for medicines and for treating illness, Essential Oils can help one to achieve better health and wellness.
